Insects X Women explores parallels between insect metamorphosis and the different stages of a woman's life.
The series is built through the juxtaposition of images from a beauty encyclopedia and a book on insects. Details are isolated and intensified, creating hybrids where skin meets carapace and the familiar turns strange.
