This project brings together archival personal photographs with contemporary drawings. By manipulating images from the past and incorporating darkly humorous drawings, I sought to address buried memories and underlying realities that exist within every family.
Freudian Flip plays with notions of the hidden and the unspoken, challenging everyone to re-evaluate their own family heritage and to reflect on the power of images interpreted through bold new perspectives.

Ce projet fait converger des photographies d’archive personnel et des dessins contemporains. En manipulant des images du passé et en y incorporant des dessins d’humour noir, j’ai cherché à aborder des souvenirs enfouis et des réalités sous-jacentes au sein de chaque famille.
